Daniel Maradei, in charge of the organization of the Business Networking Day and the Forum of Investments and Finance at the World Forestry Congress, participated in the Second International Forestry Furniture, Decoration, Lighting, Upholstery and Technology Fair, which took place during june at the Alalay lake fair grounds, in Bolivia. During the opening ceremony, the XIIIth WFC was presented.

The members of the XIII WFC Organizing Committee, the Eng. Mirta Rosa Larrieu and BSc. Sebastián Mihanovich, accompanied by the Eng. Esteban Borodowski and Alejandro Signorelli from the Forestry Production Board of SAGPyA took a trip to the Delta to finish organizing this post-congress journey.

The XIIIth World Forestry Congress, taking place from October 18th to October 23rd, was formally presented before the press at the Secretariat of Agriculture yesterday morning. The Secretary General, Biologist Leopoldo Montes, the National Agricultural and Forestry Production Director, Eng. Lucrecia Santinoni and the President of the National Parks Administration, Eng. Héctor Espina, all attended the event.

The President of the Republic of Argentina, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, accepted the role of Ambassador of the XIII WFC 2009 during the announcement ceremony in San Fernando, Buenos Aires of the renewal of law 25.080 for the promotion of planted forests.
